Welcome to the University of Cambridge. Here you can find all of the information you need about working for one of the world's oldest and most successful universities.
The University of Cambridge is one of the world's great universities. The University has a unique heritage, and although we are famous for our architecture, it is people, both past and present, who have built our reputation and who continue to keep us at the top of the league.
One of our core values at the University of Cambridge is to recognise and reward our staff as our greatest asset. We realise that it's our people who have built our outstanding reputation, and that we will only maintain our leading position in the academic world by continuing to attract and retain talented and motivated people.
We help new employees settle in through central University induction events and local induction activities. We also provide a range of essential information through our online learning packages. These cover various topics, including induction, equal opportunities and health and safety.
Cambridge values its staff highly and offers a wide range of opportunities, both personal and professional. These pages aim to give you a flavour of the University and tell you what's available, in terms of personal and professional development, and the many benefits of working in Cambridge.
IGCSE, formed in 1988, is a comprehensive two-year programme, spread over Class 9and10 and leads to the final examinations offered every year in May and November.
